Mama Canada geese looking after little ones at Hagerstown City Park Canada geese at Hagerstown City Park on Mother's Day, May 14, 2023. Hagerstown Community College recently announced that 34 students had graduated from the Early College Degree Program. The students from nine Washington County public and private high schools earned their associate degrees from HCC at the same time they are completing high school, according to a news release from HCC.   The Early College Degree Program, formerly Middle College, is a partnership between HCC and Washington County Public Schools to allow college-ready high school students the opportunity to earn college degrees or certificates while completing their high school diplomas, according to the release.
