For the first time in 1,092 days, the Washington County Sports Hall of Fame has grown.On Saturday, five new members — baseball coaches Greg Eversole and Scott Jennings, running coach Ray Shriver, sportswriter Bob Parasiliti and official Ling Louie — were inducted into the hall, bringing the total number of members to 205.The five inductees were surrounded by family, friends, fellow hall of fame members and other county sports dignitaries at the Elks Lodge No. 378 in Hagerstown. The venue last hosted the festivities on July 20, 2019 — several months before the COVID pandemic brought a halt to the proceedings for two years.
