30. Smithsburg boys indoor track and field The Leopards won the county team title, placed second in 1A West and finished fifth in Class 1A at states. Senior Cameron Rejonis won state gold in the 500 and 800 and was the athlete of the year. Senior Liam Fisher earned all-county first-team honors, and senior Aaron Morales, junior Xavier Douge and sophomore Tyler Younker made the second team. 29. Smithsburg girls cross country The Leopards finished a close second to North Hagerstown in the county meet, won the CMC Gambrill title and placed second in Class 1A at the state championships.
