A Hagerstown member of the House of Delegates was picked to be the secretary of the Women's Legislative Caucus of Maryland for next year's legislative session, according to a news release from the group. Del. Brooke Grossman, D-Washington, is in her first term representing District 2B, which generally covers the city of Hagerstown. Grossman is one of eight women on the executive cabinet with Del. Edith J. Patterson, D-Charles, who was unanimously elected president of the caucus for the 2024 General Assembly.
